Contemporary Jewelry Designer - Lantana Designwear Welcome to Lantana Designwear. My name is Lisa, the
jewelry designer, founder and creator
of Lantana Designwear.
Always inspired by art and architecture I have created most of my life --
painting, basket weaving, creating jewelry, decorating... The process of
making my designs become reality is such a rewarding experience. I
love to create unique, contemporary jewelry, using a variety of techniques,
never getting bored. I create sophisticated and chic, then moved on
to fun and funky. It is such a joy to learn something new and
incorporate it into one of my designs.
I have been in the crafting business for 15 years. I took some
time off so that I could just enjoy being a Mother. At that time, I still enjoyed crafts as a hobby
and discovered my love of jewelry making. When our youngest daughter
became old enough, I decided that it was time to find an outlet for my
jewelry. Lantana Designwear was born. (My next baby) We
have been in the jewelry business since 2002 and brought our jewelry to
the world wide web in May of 2003.
I hope that you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy creating them.

P.S. I am always asked where I got the name Lantana Designwear.
Lantana is a beautiful, lavender flower that I have blooming all summer
long in the front of my house. You see a lot of lantana in the
south. It is just my kind of plant. You plant it, forget
about it and it still thrives!
